Established in 1955, The Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) is a voluntary welfare organization that serves more than 5,300 Deaf and Hard-of-hearing persons in Singapore, providing a gamut of services such as sign language intepretation, notetaking, Deaf awareness workshops, employment support, counselling, financial assistance, sports and recreational activities.

SADeaf's mission is to assist the Deaf and Hard-of-hearing to achieve a better quality of life and to enable them to integrate and contribute to society.

SADeaf is a member of the National Council of Social Service and is supported by the Community Chest of Singapore, Ministry of Social and Family Development and Ministry of Education. The association is also affiliated internationally, to the World Federation of the Deaf and locally, to the Children's Charities Association
